
Can you freeze Waterblommetjies?
The past few weeks our customers often asked us: CAN I FREEZE WATERBLOMMETJIES to use at a later stage?
The answer is YES!
We do it every year and eat delicious Waterblommetjie stew all year round.
What to do:
1. Rinse your waterblommetjies well in cold water.
2. Soak overnight in salt water
3. Rinse again
4. Cook it in boiling water for 1 minute (optional)
5. Let it cool down, put it in a freezer bag, seal well and freeze.
When you take it out of the freezer to make your stew, cook from frozen.
